Variable ID: 0x41CC

Variable Label: Switch Function

Variable Help: Switch Function You can specify whether the limit switch is used as a High Alarm or as a Low Alarm. The switching direction affects the fail-safe function of the digital output (open collector). To output the alarm as a signal via the open collector, you have to set "Digital Out Function" in the I/O Setup menu to LS ALARM. You have the following setting options: MAX The alarm is triggered when exceeding the switching threshold. MIN The alarm is triggered when falling below the switching threshold MAX + BUILD UP The alarm is triggered if the switching threshold is exceeded (High Alarm). In addition, monitoring is performed which triggers an alarm if wall deposits 1 is detected. Prerequisite for correct function is that both the count rate for empty and the count rate for full was measured. During the measurement of the empty value it must be ensured that no build-up occurs.
