Variable Name: IpConverter_ipOffsetVenting

Variable ID: 0x427E

Variable Label: Y Offset Up

Variable Help: The offset for the output signal linearizes the behavior of the I/P module used and enables rapid compensation even in the case of small control deviations. The value is limited at the low end by a minimum value (neutral zone). The offset substantially affects the controlling speed for control deviations smaller than 5 %.To compensate for existing dissymmetries in the controlled system, the offset should be set separately for both directions (up/down).For most actuators, a satisfactory control response is achieved with offset values between 40 and 80 %. If, in the event of setpoint changes, the control response demonstrates an overshoot of less than 2 %, both offset values should be decreased. Both offset values should be increased when the actuator stops outside the tolerance band.Use this parameter to adjust the Y offset for the positioning direction down (towards 0 %)
