Variable Help: HV Mode The HV-mode (high-voltage control) provides the following options: AUTO Automatic HV control. Select this mode in normal measurement mode. It enables a temperature-stable operation of the detector. MANUAL Manual HV control. This setting is used for testing purposes; you can also provisionally set the operating point of the detector. The specified voltage must, however, lie in the plateau. If you select "Manual", the automatic HV control is switched off. The HV is then set to the value that was set in the menu item HV Manual. PLATEAU Starts the plateau measurement. If you select PLATEAU, the measurement mode is exited and the plateau of the multiplier measured, which is used in the detector.
